The listener-funded classical music service of the University of Oregon, KWAX has a dedicated audience of 26,000 weekly listeners in the Eugene-Springfield area. It provides listeners in the state and around the world with 24 hours of the world's greatest music each day. Tune in or stream for live daily broadcasts, syndicated specialty music programs, Listener’s Choice Fridays, and news of regional arts and cultural events.

The 20,000 watt station has transmitters and translators from Central Oregon to the Oregon coast. As a public station engaged with its community, it receives support from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and thousands of individual donors.
